The Key West series is all about color and light. Sometimes referred to as “slow” tropical light, the light of Key West often feels cinematic – seeming to slow motion down to frame by frame. 

The colors of Key West are deep blues and greens with surrounding shallow, turquoise waters and white sandy bottoms – reflecting an enormous amount of light back into the atmosphere which creates an intensely colored environment.

Recent travels to the Caribbean and in the waters around Key West have shaped the palette and energies of this series.
