Komorebi is a beautiful Japanese word that describes the interplay of light and shadow when sunlight filters through the leaves of trees creating dappled light, sunbeams,  and a peaceful atmosphere. It has no direct equivalent in English, however, if we allow ourselves time and quiet to look – we can see and feel the full meaning of komorebi as we walk under trees.
